The curriculum includes instruction in stream ecology, entomology, freshwater biology, and the environmental issues resulting from acid rain, as well as the fundamentals of the sport of fly fishing. For reservation forms and information call Jan Weido 845.868.7715 or 845.871.1041  stanfordvillejn@optonline.net

The Catskill Fly Fishing Center & Museum will soon anounce the 2009 dates for the Environmental Education Programs.  This is the 23nd year of educational and recreational activities offered to youngsters at the Center.  The programs are designed to instill an appreciation for the environment in general, and more specifically, the water environment.  The hands on approach to learning in a natural setting makes the learning fun!

The curriculum includes instruction in stream ecology, entomology, freshwater biology, and the environmental issues resulting from acid rain, as well as the fundamentals of the sport of fly fishing.

Due to the popularity of the programs and class size being limited to twenty students, it is advisable to register early.  Tuition includes overnight camping and meals for the weekend sessions.  Mid-Hudson TU funds scholarships for this program.
